I'd say you and Chris hit not one but several nails right on the head. If the KNS does not publish that letter, they are cowards. And you are right: we enjoy more freedoms in this country than any other country on the face of the Earth. That's why so many who live THERE want to come HERE and live. It is the land of opportunity ... and I have a hard time believing we're in any kind of a recession when at peak times of the day you can't get a parking space at any of the 50 or so overpriced restaurants within two miles of my home. C'mon, people. If folks are so worried about the price of gas, why don't they stay home to eat? Cheaper all around. Their whining is bogus. This is the land of milk and honey. Terrorists hate us for our freedoms and want to destroy us. Our courageous president and our stellar military have had the anatomical (if not political) correctness to do the difficult thing in order to secure the ongoing freedom of all those in-name-only Americans who now find it fashionable to HATE America. It's not original with me but this is my heartfelt sentiment ... America: LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT. I love it, and God bless it, and God bless President Bush. WOW.
