Altruism and Christianity, thy names are Obama and Biden!

When I wrote the title to this post I didn’t even have to fact check first to know that these two buffoons would work stupendously for my subject matter. How do I know this? Well, in short, they are liberals, and liberals are manifestly the opposite of every “fruit of the Spirit” they claim to be such a shining example of.

 

Take for example part of B. Hussein Obama’s Inauguration Day speech:

 

“The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our Gross Domestic Product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on the ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart – not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good.”

 

Well forget talking about giving charitably…let’s just cut right to the chase and embrace Communism! Last time I checked, most people don’t care about the “common good” when it comes to making a living. Oh sure, here in America people who aren’t crazed liberals want everyone to do well, make a good living and have the things that they need to live and enjoy life. But as a general rule, Americans want to work and make a living for themselves without having to also have money taken from them to support “the common good” of perfectly capable people who want to sit at home drinking Mike’s Hard Lemonade and eating Twinkies all day.

 

In other words, we want to be left ALONE to do our jobs and pay as few taxes as possible. We know how to give charitably; most of us do that every week. In the end, this is what makes America fiscally and morally rich along with strengthening our character.

 

But while we’re on the subject of giving charitably, here are the tax returns of the multi-millionaire Obama family and the percentage of what they gave to charity from the years 2000-2006, and here’s the link if you need further proof:

2000 – 1%

 

2001 – .5%  (yes, that is a decimal before the 5)

 

2002 – .4%  (yep, again there too!)

 

2003 – 1.4%

 

2004 – 1.2 %

 

2005 – 4.7%

 

2006 – 6.1% (notice how the number drastically goes up this year…nearing election, can it be?)

 

I’m sure the poor and needy of the Chicago area could have put some of that money to good use for things like…oh I don’t know, feeding people and providing care for those who are too sick and disabled to care for themselves.

 

But I’m sure he’s perfectly satisfied to have his tax dollars going to public school liberal brainwashing and government funded “saline application, fork in the brain, limb plucking” abortions. Hey, it’s the charitable thing to do! Why do more than you have to, right?

 

 (I say that with all due respect to the innocent babies who are being heinously murdered every year, but awareness must be raised to the vileness of these “condoned” acts).

 

According to Joe “it’s time to start being patriotic” Biden’s tax returns as reported by the National Review Online, he gave a total of $3,690 to charity from 1998-2007 with an AGI of 2.4 million over that 10 year span. We’ll let Tim Geithner do the math on that one and tell us what the percentage of charitable giving is.

 

Now, juxtapose this with the charitable contributions of our former President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

Of course it all starts to make sense when you read what the liberal Bertrand Russell has to say about charitable donations: “I’m afraid you’ve got it wrong. We are socialists. We don’t pretend to be “Christians.”

 

And that’s our “altruistic” President Obama and gaffe laden sidekick Biden in a nutshell. What people can’t see is that they are pretending to be Christians when really they are socialists.

Not a fragile experiment…Divine destiny!

On January 17th, President Barack Hussein Obama gave a speech in Baltimore to a group of cold, albeit Obama crazed people. He said something that caught my attention as I was casually listening, and I give you the exact quote.

 

“We began this train trip in Philadelphia earlier today. And it is fitting that we did so – because it was there that our American journey began. It was there that a group of farmers and lawyers, merchants and soldiers, gathered to declare their independence and lay claim to a destiny that they were being denied. It was a risky thing, meeting as they did in that summer of 1776. There was no guarantee that their fragile experiment would find success.”

 

Later in his speech he referred to the “American Revolution” that was fought and remains today an ongoing struggle in the minds and hearts of the American people.

 

I would venture to say first that the only revolution that is being fought today or has ever been fought in this country is the revolting of evil against righteousness. The war we fought to gain our freedom was a war for independence. We were not revolting against anything; we were simply claiming what God had already promised to us as a people. The men and women who came to America knew that God was on their side and that He had a plan for them.

 

The forming of our country, its Constitution and its ideals was not an accident and certainly not an experiment; it was the manifestation of what God had in store for us. To quote the great Ronald Reagan:

 

“You may think this a little mystical, and I’ve said it many times before, but I believe there was a Divine Plan to place this great continent here between the two oceans to be found by peoples from every corner of the earth. I believe we were preordained to carry the torch of freedom for the world.”

 

I concur.

 

Over the next four years I want our country to succeed. If our President embraces the principles of personal responsibility, limited government and an intent followed by action to win the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan then yes, I want our President to succeed also. So far all we have seen from President Barack Obama is question dodging, welfare foisting, whining and a voting record on abortion that gives him an A+++ with Planned Parenthood.

Life. What a Beautiful Choice.

Okay, this is going to be a short post because I have had a crazily busy day, but I haven’t blogged in a long time and I need to.

 

A few days ago I was driving to work and I saw an advertisement on the back of a 53 foot trailer. There was baby laying on his stomach with a blanket over him, his head was up and he was smiling. Very cute to say the least. The caption read: Life. What a Beautiful Choice. I had heard that slogan before, I believe it is put out by Right to Life.

 

I’ve also heard that Planned Parenthood went apoplectic when they heard about that one. But that’s only because they want to keep abortion safe, legal and rare….riiiight.

 

This Christmas in Indiana, Planned Parenthood is providing gift certificates for people to purchase that are also good for abortions. “But that’s not their purpose” they say, “we just decided to not put any restrictions on the certificates.”

 

Well how nice. Great way to celebrate the first Christmas of the (office of) President Elect B. Hussein Obama…since he’s so obsessed with abortion being legal in every form. Sheesh, don’t they make a pill for that? Dude needs to get some of them if they do. I dunno, I like to call it compassion or just plain old not murdering people.

 

So, back to my original thought about life being a beautiful choice. Life isn’t always easy and the road not always smooth, but it is still worth living. Where there is life, there is hope.

We know them by their fruit

I’ve been thinking about the godlessness of liberals lately. It’s the only explanation I arrive at when trying to understand their “arguments” or “talking points”. Politically speaking, liberals want all power, but they aren’t going to stop there. In addition to being omnipotent, they want to confiscate your money, your guns, your freedom and your life.

On a more spiritual note, being godless is what liberals thrive on…it’s the only way they can justify their evil thought processes. One of my liberal friends saw that I was reading Ann Coulter’s Godless the other day and he disagreed with her argument by telling me that he is a liberal and he believes in God.

The Bible says that the devils also believe and tremble.

So believing in God and actually trusting God for your soul’s salvation are two completely different things. I’m sure there are a lot of liberals who believe in God, meaning that there is a God. But ultimately, liberals are godless in the sense that they do not believe what God says and have no intention of following his book.

When you take God out of the equation, you get the theory of Evolution, abortion on demand, Socialism, gay marriage, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and many other things or people that liberals defend. Liberals take God out and make themselves god, they make the rules, they get to say who lives and who dies. In the end all we have to look at is the fruit that is born. What comes out of liberalism and godlessness? Higher taxes, redistribution of wealth, welfare, adultery, ignorance and the death of innocent people. By their fruits ye shall know them.

Letter to the Editor

I read a letter to the editor today that was posted in the Knoxville News Sentinel. Here’s what it said:

“Who gets thanks for Bush tenure?”

I would like to take the time to thank George W. Bush and Dick Cheney for the wonderful seven years we have enjoyed in this country during their tenure in the White House. Thank you for the fact that Osama bin Laden is still alive and well. Thanks for the memories of the unprovoked war in Iraq and the many deaths and injuries suffered by U.S. troops and Iraqi troops and civilians. Thanks for the 47 million Americans still without health care. A big thank you is in order for helping the U.S. oil companies enjoy record profits during this time when many can’t afford to buy gas. Thanks for the Patriot Act, which has taken many freedoms away  from citizens that were formerly enjoyed. Thank you sincerely for the trillion dollar national debt and the wonderful recession we are experiencing. I also want to thank Karl Rove for his help in stealing not one, but two elections. That’s got to be a record! Thanks to Halliburton, the king of no-bid contract companies. I could go on and on thanking these great folks, but I don’t want to seem too patronizing. – William Wright, Seymour

So, my friend Chris and I decided to write back to the editor with a rebuttal to the ridiculous drivel of this man. Here’s what I came up with:

Dear Editor,

 

The following is in response to the letter to the editor entitled “Who gets thanks for the Bush tenure?” It was published in the Knoxville News Sentinel on July 1, 2008.

 

            We would really like to take the time to thank Bush and Cheney for the past seven plus years we have enjoyed in this country during their tenure in the White House. Let’s take a few minutes to look at the facts.

 

  1. The United States of America has been 100% Al-Qaida free for the last seven years. If you recall, September 11, 2001 was a pretty dark day in our nation’s history. By the acts of terrorists, three thousand Americans were slaughtered. I would definitely not call this an unprovoked war, they killed 3,000 Americans and now we are killing them. We’re square.
  2. Freedom for our country and for others comes with a price. In 2007, there was an average of 5 people shot on the streets of Chicago every day. The average in Iraq is lower than that. So I guess Iraq is a safer place now than some of the cities on our own soil. 
  3. Last time I checked, we don’t live in Canada, so I’m not sure why it is the government’s responsibility to provide healthcare for all Americans. Go get a job that has benefits, that’s part of the American dream…if you want something, all you have to do is go work hard and get it.  If you want to live in a Socialist country, then move to Canada or Europe for all we care…we’d be happy to get rid of you.
  4. Oil companies don’t dictate gas prices, it’s supply and demand that sets the prices at the pump, not the President. Anyway, who’s to say that profits for big oil companies is a bad thing? Oil is what drives the free market. Profits for companies keeps people employed and allows for innovation and creation of new products and services. The Democrats are obsessed with hiking the taxes on gas and not letting us drill for our own oil. That’s where the price gouging comes into play. Blame them and stop voting for them. It is preposterous to say that people can’t afford to buy gas; I don’t see any shortage of cars on the road.
  5. Thank God for the Patriot Act, now we can catch people who are planning attacks against our country and stop them before they bomb us into oblivion. What’s wrong with that?  If you are not a terrorist planning to kill Americans then you have nothing to worry about.
  6. Having slight recessions is the natural process of our free market economy. There have been slight recessions in every decade. When Reagan first came into office the economy was the worst it had been since the Depression. When he left office it was thriving. I don’t see many people starving or going without in America. Quit listening to the liberal doom and gloom of the media and check the facts for yourself. 
  7. Once and for all, the elections were not stolen…Bush/Cheney won them fair and square…CAN WE LET IT GO NOW! Even if they were stolen(which they weren’t), thank God we didn’t have to put up with that windbag Al Gore and America-hating John Kerry for 8 years. 

 

Thank God for the safety we enjoy in America and for the tax cuts which means more money in our pockets. We’re not interested in consorting and talking to terrorists, we’re interested in killing them and that’s exactly what we have been doing, thanks to President Bush.

 

 So we’re going to send it in and see if it gets published. Just in time for the Fourth of July. God Bless America!

Faith of our Fathers

Today is Father’s Day and I’m so thankful for my father. I have more than just a good father though, I have a father who has faith in God. He along with my mother taught me from the time I was a small child what it meant to have faith in God.

When I think about the faith of my father I also think about the faith of the fathers of our great country. Liberals never tire of making the arguement that we do not have a Christian nation. They cannot stand it when conservatives like Sean Hannity or Ann Coulter talk about our nation being founded upon Christian principles. They squirm around in their seats and the hot spittle comes flying out of their mouths faster than you can blink. They use the same old tired argument about separation of church and state. The reason this country was founded was because our leaders wanted separation of church and state, but more than anything they wanted freedom of religion. All of this does not change the fact that our founding fathers were Christian men and women who relied upon God for the strength and wisdom they needed. Here are some quotes from George Washington, the father of our country:

“It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.” 

“Almighty and eternal Lord God, the great Creator of heaven and earth, and the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; look down from heaven in pity and compassion upon me Thy servant, who humbly prostrates myself before Thee.” - prayer at Valley Forge

“To the distinguished character of a Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of a Christian.” 

Out of this Christian faith grew our country and in turn made it the greatest land on the face of the Earth. Our free market economy which has made us the wealthiest nation in the world grows out of the ideology of freedom. The soil in which all of this was planted was the liberty that each soul has to choose what he or she wants. It all began with God.

Let’s be honest people

I have to say, as much as I love politics, I’m getting a little tired of hearing about how “great” B. Hussein Obama is from the liberals that I work with. You know it’s so funny too because they call themselves Christians. Now, I know that I live in the Bible belt and practically everyone is a “Christian” but seriously folks…get a grip.  Let’s see, what does B. Hussein Obama stand for or what does he not stand for is what I should say.

He’s for murdering innocent unborn children.

He believes that gays should have the right to marry by law.

He’s a socialist.

He consorts with known terrorists.

And I’m pretty sure he doesn’t live his life in accordance to the Bible…but maybe another book that starts with a K..hmmm.

Anyway, my point is, everything I listed above are things that a true Christian would be against, except for reading the Bible, obviously we are for that. So I guess all of this begs the question, why would any Christian support such a lunatic? Could it have somthing to do with race? Why can’t people just be honest. This election is all about race, that’s all B. Hussein Obama wants to talk about but his own followers won’t admit it. Crazy, I know. I’m starting to feel the same way I did when that murderer O.J. Simpson was acquitted. The black people practically went out of their minds with joy over that, nevermind that fact that two innocent people were murdered in cold blood.

I guess I’m just tired of having his “greatness” shoved down my throat. What has he ever done that’s so great? So far all he’s put forth are broad sweeping statements with absolutely no specifics. It’s amazing to me how fast people will sell their country down the river to satisfy their personal preferences.

Oh, and for all you liberals out there who are voting for him just because he’s a knee-jerk liberal, why don’t you be honest too. Next time someone asks you why you are voting for B. Hussein Obama, here’s a good answer to give them: “He’s a yellow-bellied, America-hating, big government socialist, baby killing, friend to terrorists…that’s why I’m voting for him.” And there you have it. See, it’s so simple.
